Whatever you do, have the mindset of brutality, aggressiveness and directness whenever you have to “defend” yourself! Avoid a fight, if possible. Run away, if possible. But, if there really is no alternative other than violence, make sure that you’re more violent than the guy attacking you, because the bottom line is that wars, chess matches and self defense situations aren’t won by being passive or “defending” yourself!
I’m often told that someone has decided to dedicate years of his life to training in martial arts or combat sports, but what will he do if he’s attacked next week or next month or in six months or before he’s had years of training? The bottom line is that you need to learn today how to fight now, using tactics and movements that will still work in ten years, even if you don’t actually practice at all until then.
When you explain to someone that you’re working with a personal trainer, the image they get is of you working out one-on-one with a traditional fitness instructor who specializes in weight lifting and cardio. With the increased popularity of the martial arts, however, more and more instructors are offering the personal training option. You may want to consider personal training with a martial arts instructor for a number of reasons.

Potential energy is stored energy that has the potential to be converted into other forms of energy, such as kinetic energy. The body has potential energy stored in the muscles and also because of its position in the earths gravitational field. We can convert this potential energy to kinetic energy in two ways: by lowering the position of our body in the earths gravitational field or by using our muscles to accelerate the body.
If done correctly it is like being hit in the face with a bowling ball. Ending any confrontation quickly.
I remember starting my very first school many years ago; it was in a village of around just 2500 people. 60 People showed up for the very first night, I charged 2.50/$5 for each lesson. As the weeks went by the number of 60 dropped until around 6 months later there was around 20 students left! During the summer months I barely covered the hall hire fee for my efforts, I knew there must be a better way.
What Should I Charge Consider; What are your goals How much do you want to earn How much is all your training and knowledge worth Imagine if I had a machine that had the power to take away every thing you have learned and gained through the martial arts! How much would you want for this 10,000, 100,000 a 1,000,000 Its hard to put a value of what we have learned, its priceless!
